Robyn is in her 5th year of Real Estate sales and has been an outstanding performer and an award winning agent from the outset.

She is from a rural Taranaki background, currently lives on a farm in Omata and has had a depth of experience personally and professionally in residential and lifestyle sales. Robyn was previously a Detective and enjoyed a 21 year Police career; she has excellent communication and negotiation skills and her attention to detail serves her very well in real estate.

"I was introduced to Robyn Burnett, by Andy Lockley, who carried out the management of my New Plymouth property (81e Huatoki Street, Vogeltown) with McDonald Real Estate for several years. I had made a major decision to relinquish the ownership of this property, my original family home in New Plymouth, despite the fact I had rented it out with the intention of always returning to it and had owned it for over thirty years. Robyn was highly recommended to me for her sensitive and honest style in Real Estate property sales, and for her diligence and ability to quickly assess what the best interests of the vendor entailed. Because I am permanently resident in Auckland, the whole sale process was indeed a leap of faith and a major step, cutting bonds with New Plymouth and the property, where I had enjoyed so many personal and happy family memories.

From the first meeting with Robyn I found her direct forthright honest style of communication a delight, conveying patience, sensitivity and a clear desire to provide sincere and honest advice, rather than a mere drive to execute a quick sale for her and McDonald’s benefit. Using her working relationship with Andy and putting considerable personal time into supervision, Robyn enabled the property to be significantly restored to a high specification which illustrated its unique benefits of privacy and outdoor living opportunity, as well as comfort presented by a complete refit of decoration and carpeting. Robyn used all of her skills to ensure the restoration was to a high standard always liaising with me at every stage. She dealt with every communication required by telephone or email efficiently, and with immediacy. She listened at every stage and always produced carefully balanced and informed advice, assuring me that the vital decisions moving forward were at my wish and direction.

As a result of her vision, recommendations and confidence in the whole process of improvement taken over several months, the property was successfully shown as a furnished home, with the result of an immediate sale in under a week. Without doubt Robyn delivered on every promise, price gained, speed of sale and adherence to my wishes. A process I will be forever grateful for, and a confirmation of why Robyn’s reputation is held so highly within the Taranaki Residential Sales Market.
