Wayne Burnnand

Residential Sales

“Originally from a farming background, my parents owned a dairy farm in Cardiff. My early working years were spent with the Taranaki Electric Power Board but after 14 years in the industry, I decided it was time for a change. My wife Maureen and I purchased a dairy in Inglewood and it wasn't until 1992 that I ventured into real estate, gaining my branch manager's certification three years later. In 2002, Maureen and I sought an adventure and headed to England where we worked for an agency for the next 12 months, which specialised in animal minding and house protection. This was a very interesting and fun occupation - one filled with a lot of laughs! When we returned to New Zealand, I entered into the real estate profession, choosing to work for McDonald Real Estate Ltd - the family company who work to get results for you.”

SImon, Auckland

"Wayne was excellent the whole time - it took me a solid year at least to find our house!! Wayne would always ring if a new house came on the market he thought we may be interested in. If I saw a house I wanted to see, we would ring him. He was always available, nothing was a problem or silly question. If there was nothing on the market we would be interested in, he would ring and just touch base with us."
