I started my working career as a tool maker. After 6 years, having married and had children, my wife and I embarked on a dairy farming career seeing this as a way to achieve our financial goals.
My wife and I built a successful career dairy farming, starting out as labourers and finishing in the industry at a point where we were 50/50 share milking 470 cows, lease farming 170 cows and having 50% ownership in a 400 cow farm.
In 2007, with farm and animal prices rising we decided that a change in career would allow us to spend more time with our children and also help my parents to retire in their early 50's.
I have since gone on to establish a number of lifestyle and residential subdivisions. During this time I have built up extensive knowledge in both purchasing and selling property. This experience, combined with my farming knowledge allows all of my clients the benefit of some twenty years of Real Estate expertise. Currently in my sixth year of Rural Real Estate Sales I have expanded my knowledge base and am currently continuing my education path working towards a Diploma in Real Estate.
I thoroughly enjoy working alongside Peter McDonald, and with the combined strengths that we both bring we both aim to help other Taranaki families achieve their goals.
